WELCOME! I’M KATIE

Hi! I’m Katie! I’m a travel wedding photographer based out of Georgia. I have been in the biz officially since January 1st of 2021 when I launched Katie Mac Photos. I have loved pictures and loved stories for as long as I can remember, so once I began photographing, there was no going back. I also grew up in a family that was experience over material, thus spoiling me with traveling the world. So when deciding exactly what to do with my life, a travel wedding photographer just fit.

As a believer in Christ, I believe that the greatest thing we could have is love and I think that marriage is the most sacred, beautiful thing that two people can embark on together. Every love story looks different. Every marriage looks different. Every wedding looks different, and that’s where I come in. Getting to capture every little detail of what makes your love story unique, is my favorite part of my job. There’s nothing quite like two people in love and intend on spending the rest of my life displaying that to the world.

Outside of my biz, I am an iced coffee enthusiast with a coffee in my hand at least two times a day. I have a doggo and a fiance that I love very much. I also love spending time with my friends and family, especially my nephew. I’m always up for an adventure, but of course, I’m always taking pictures!

MY LOVE STORY

As someone who sees different love stories every day, there’s one that will always be my favorite. In April of 2025, I will marry the love of my life and my very best friend. He is my biggest supporter and has always encouraged me to pursue all of my dreams. Our love story is undeniably hand-crafted by Jesus and I just know we were made to be together.

Tayne and I have known each other for our entire lives. Our grandmothers were best friends and started a tradition long before us of our families doing a Christmas celebration together. Christmas 2016 was one like no other and a night that would change our lives forever. As we hit it off from that very night, the feelings never really slowed down. From that moment, Tayne has pursued me more than anyone in my entire life. He always told me that He knew I was the one from that night on. Despite being young and needing to learn exactly what love looked like, everything always pointed back to each other. In summer of 2019, we officially got together and never looked back. That is the greatest decision I have ever made.
